This course focuses on the numeric treatment of dynamics of multibody dynamics. Main topics: Newton-Euler equations; geometric and kinematic constraints; Method of Lagrange Multipliers; numeric integration of the equations of motion; numeric stabilization methods; equations of motion of minimal order; spatial motion; other methodologies of dynamic equation generation (Lagrange equations, Hamiltons principle, equations of Appell); impacts; flexible bodies. The course consists of two semester hours of theory and one semester hour of practical lectures, where worked-out examples are discussed. Students will be supported in the application of the developed theory in our computer lab using Matlab. |
