This project based course is a combination of the Kolloquium (preparatory Seminar) and the Workshop (the actual school practice). Participants are going to develop and teach afternoon clubs at the Burggymnasium (taking place at the same time as the course). These clubs, which will be team taught by two or three students, can be chosen according to students' interest and should be developed for a particular target group within the school. Clubs that have been chosen in the past are, for example, the production of an English Radio Show, a Business English Club or an English Marine Biology Club which used the film Finding Nemo as a basis. Participants will develop the outline of the projects (clubs) in our preparatory sessions at university, will teach the clubs (with support being available) and will then return to university to reflect and report on their experiences. A Leistungsnachweis for Module VII will be obtained through successfully handing in the Praktikumsbericht.
