This Seminar im Hauptstudium deals with - in an applied linguistic sense - with the context in which language teaching takes place and the impact these context conditions have - or should have- on language teaching. Our sociolinguistic approach will focus topics such as Language and Society, Language and Variation, Language and Interaction, Language and Culture.<br />Course book: S.L. McKay/N.H.
