This lecture is going to prepare students for their stay abroad: Selected theoretical and practical aspects from the areas of linguistics, literature and cultural studies will be employed to help students develop their intercultural competences and awareness. Furthermore, the lecture is meant to train skills that are needed to critically reflect upon intercultural experiences so that students can maximize the benefit of their intercultural encounters during their stay abroad.
