Blockseminar/Exkursion: August 2013 (19-23/8)
The Edinburgh Book Festival is the largest public celebration of the written word in the world. Every August the organisers bring over 800 writers and thinkers from across the planet together to rub shoulders with the audience in readings, discussion rounds, work shops, etc.
We will be visiting the Festival for four to five days in August, attend several readings of well-known and newer writers and experience the culture of Scotland’s capital (e.g. with a visit to the Scottish Parliament, a tour of the impressive Edinburgh castle and during the famous Literary Pub Crawl). Course requirements: mandatory attendance of booked events, creation of a portfolio with reports, interviews, etc (to be compiled in groups of two).
The number of participants will have to be limited to a maximum of 16 students!
PLEASE NOTE: This course is already FULL (incl. the waiting list)!! Sorry! |
