Do you want to become an employee of an international acting company and look forward working in mixed cultural teams? You consider yourself as a tolerant team-player, but experienced already some difficulties maybe even conflicts working together with students from other cultures? This experience is very normal. Intercultural differences can lead to conflicts, which then block the performance of the team-work. Gaining intercultural competence to avoid these conflicts is the aim of this training.
Lernziele:
- What is culture?: You will gain awareness about your own cultural imprinting and the structure of cultures in general. You will learn where intercultural misunderstandings come from, to effectively deal with them.
- Cultural rules: You will experience the impact of cultural rules on intercultural team-behavior.
- Cultural dimensions: Your will learn about different cultural dimensions and their impact on business and team behavior.
- Stereotypes, prejudices and perception: You gain awareness about own and others prejudices.
- Intercultural communication: You will gain intercultural competence for communicating effectively in intercultural conflict-situations.
- Challenge intercultural team: You will gain intercultural competence for the challenge of leading or being part of an intercultural team. We will take look at different stages of the teambuilding process, which might cause conflicts and find best practices to avoid these.
