Course Objectives:
This course is designed to give students the opportunity to use English in their everyday life. The course offers extensive conversation and speaking practice through the use of a variety of learning techniques, including group and pair exercises. The course will also help students develop and organize their ideas, which will increase their confidence and, in turn, will help with their speaking. Group discussion, whole class discussions, group presentations and individual presentations will provide students with ample opportunity to freely express themselves in the English language.
Different small talk topics will be addressed and students should inform the instructor which topics are of particular interest to them. |

A completed B1 level (approx. 180 class hours).
Obligation to attend all sessions including mandatory attendance for the first session. If students fail to attend the first session and do not have an excused absence, they will automatically lose their place in the language course. |

Final Grading Scheme:
50% Oral exam
20% Debate
20% Presentation
10% Participation in Group discussions
This also applies to the acquisition of the certificate for the course. There are no certificates of attendance. |
