Virginia Woolf is one of the most influential writers of the Modernist period. Her works deal with the passage of time, the restrictions of gender, trauma and much more. In this seminar we will read a number of Woolfs theoretical and narrative texts in order to discuss the author’s life and creative work.
A reader with theoretical texts and novel excerpts will be available at the copyshop on Reckhammerweg from early April onwards but students are asked to also obtain their own copies of the following texts:
