Lernziele: The student can apply failure theories for brittle and ductile materials to evaluate loading conditions on mechanical parts under multiaxial states of stress. He/she can analyze screw connections based on their durability and elastic stiffness and determine approriate screws for different application cases. He/she is able to analyse Hertzian pressure between metallic bodies and can design form-fit and force-fit connections. The student is able to calculate journal bearings in terms of temperature and loading conditions, can choose appropriate roller bearings for an application case and analyze the lifetime of roller bearings. He/she can analyze weld connections with multiaxial loading according to DS 95201. |
