Kommentar: |
This English-taught undergraduate seminar is open to BA-students and foreign students in the Erasmus program. Using the multilevel governance perspective as an analytical focus, this seminar explores actors, structures and processes in the political system of the Federal Republic of Germany. The multilevel governance perspective not only helps highlight structural characteristics and problems of the German "partisan federation" („Parteienbundesstaat“) but also offers a useful comparative framework to grasp the far-reaching institutional and legal interdependence of the domestic political system within the European Union as a multilevel polity.
