The Teaching English in Theory and Practice seminar (i.e. PS-Vorbereitungsseminar) is designed to prepare you for next semester’s ‘Praxissemester’.
In order to do so, we will:
- provide you with a framework for what is required from you during the ‘Praxissemester’;
- revisit and reflect core issues and trends in modern English language teaching;
- create a basis for your main task during the ‘Praxissemester’, i.e. your in-school action research project (Studien- /Unterichtsprojekt).
In a first step, action research will be introduced; then, sample fields of research will be outlined. On the basis of these, you develop your own project outline and devise your project plan. |
