Kommentar: |
The course deals firstly with general climate features, causes, characteristics, atmospheric circulation patterns, radiation and energy balances. The special focus will be put on climate change, greenhouse gas effects and anthropogenic effects on climate. After transmitting knowledge on general climate, the second part of the course will be focused on urban climatology: thermal and hydrological properties of urban surfaces, air pollution and ventilation patterns, urban climate and global warming will be discussed in details. The last part will be devoted to the adaptation strategies within urban areas, which will be shown on the example of several big projects. |
