This seminar will connect questions regarding theories, concepts, contents and methods of EFL education and their impact on school practice.
In this seminar, a combination of theoretical teaching approaches and practical experiences how classrooms work will be provided. Student teachers will (1) explore modern understandings of competence-orientation (2) put theory into practice by participating in various forms of project work and developing own teaching ideas based on the previously acquired knowledge.
Students are expected to regularly participate, thoroughly prepare and actively contribute to each meeting. Regarding their school-based studies, students are required to either pass a written exam (Gy/Ge & BK) at the end of term or hand in a written documentation (HRSGe & GS). |
