This seminar is part of the project "Students Meet Experts - Innovation Hub for EFL Education" and addresses innovative topics in EFL education. Through presentations and workshops with national and international experts, we will take a closer look at current EFL topics such as ecological sustainability, democracy promotion, and digital learning, while also developing new teaching ideas. Thus, each session of this innovative teaching format is divided in two parts:
- Presentation on current EFL topics
- Workshop where students actively participate in designing teaching ideas.
The Innovation Hub serves as an exchange space for students, teachers, and experts, fostering a practice-oriented and research-based teacher education.
Students who attend this seminar in their FD 2.2-module are expected to thoroughly prepare and actively participate in each session. After completing module FD2 (which comprises two seminars, FD2.1 and FD2.2), students are required to take an oral exam. Students must make sure they register for an FD 2.1-seminar, too, in order to complete the full FD 2-module and take the oral exam.
