Overview
In this seminar, we will explore aspects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy: What do we mean when we talk about AI Literacy, what are the competencies and skills to help us prepare for and live with AI and what is the current state of the art. To do so, we will review research works and literature on the topic of AI Literacy with an emphasis on competence frameworks that are used in formal and informal education.
Process
We will work as one group with distinct individual contributions as follows: we will retrieve a set of recent research articles on the topic and we will read, review, and discuss these articles on the following dimensions:
- AI Literacy definitions;
- Core Skills and Competencies for Learning, Living and Interacting with AI;
- Training and Acquiring AI Literacy;
- Evaluation of AI Literacy.
Outcome
We will co-create a set of digital artifacts based on our readings, including a wiki, a diagrammatic representation, a coding scheme, and a research article.
Evaluation
Each participant will be assessed based on their contribution to the project's outcomes, and their involvement and investment during the meetings.
