Drawing on topics such as language learning theory and communicative language teaching covered in module FD 1, this course introduces students to aspects of inclusion in the EFL classroom. The main objective is for students to deepen their understanding of learner orientation, taking into account learners of diverse backgrounds with a variety of educational needs or learning preferences. Using the participants' individual experience as language learners as a starting point, the course will explore theoretical and practical implications of inclusion in the ESL classroom and beyond.
Students are expected to regularly participate, thoroughly prepare and actively contribute to each meeting. They are also required to take an oral exam after completing module FD 2 (which comprises two seminars, FD 2.1 and FD 2.2.). |
