We will explore the theoretical foundations of network theory and engage in practical exercises using R. Topics will include basic network concepts, visualization, and analysis, focusing on social science applications such as social networks, communication patterns, and economic interactions. The course concludes with input-output models. Assessments include ungraded learning evaluations throughout the semester and a final seminar paper on network or IO models.
This hands-on course requires no prerequisites other than an interest in the topic. |
