Business Issues in Japan’s Economy (AEAS 2207) Summer Term 2022, Georg D. Blind, PhD
Addressees Generally, advanced BA students focusing on Japanese economy and all IN-EAST MA students are welcome to join this course, which is part of the advanced module “International Economic and Business Issues of Japan” (AEAS 2207).
Course description This course is part II of module AEAS 2207 and aims to add case work experience to the knowledge acquired by attending the lecture “Japan’s Role in Global and Regional Economic Relations ” (part I of AEAS2207). In their case study research, participants build on their previously acquired skills and knowledge. The selection of case studies is designed to challenge common views and misperceptions through critical inquiry. The course builds on an interactive setting commonly found in the consulting industry with the lecturer coaching participants in group study sessions that precede individual presentations by one week.
