Kommentar: | The seminar assesses developmental challenges and policy solutions in (East) Asia from a comparative perspective. Topics include green growth/sustainable development, urbanization, demographic change, labor migration, tradition/(multiple) modernities, regionalization/globalization, as well as contestation movements. The seminar will provide an introduction to general theories and research methods before turning to select country-related case studies. The seminar follows a blended learning approach and will be complemented by (virtual) guest lectures. |
