This course will take you step by step through the process of performing a dramatic monologue: from reading and analysing the text, editing for production, rehearsing and finally performing. This is designed to be a "hands on" experience for students who are interested in learning about the creative process of theater performance. It is especially beneficial for future teachers who want to integrate drama in the classroom and those who would like to act or work on a production in English. Additionally the experience helps to improve vocal and non-verbal skills, as well as developing a sense of confidence and awareness "on stage".
