This orientation week will serve to welcome you to the MA programs at the IN-EAST and UDE, to give you information related to your studies and exams, and to introduce you to staff members and lecturers at the IN-EAST and the university. Sessions also cover academic standards in research and writing in the German university context and at IN-EAST specifically.

All MA students (CEAS and MEAS) starting with their studies in winter semester 2022/23 are required to attend the Official Introduction meeting on Monday, while the other sessions are optional for MEAS students who graduated from BA MOAS but mandatory for external MEAS students and all new CEAS students.
Please note that planning is not finalized and this is only a preliminary schedule.
Depending on the cpandemic situation, some or all sessions might be shifted to digital formats on short notice.
Make sure to check back regularly as this schedule may be changed or added to as planning proceeds.
